Oracle Chocolates creates unexpected, surprising flavor combinations that bring magical themes and memories to mind. We believe in food as storytelling, and ritual. Our hope is that our offerings remind you that You Are Magic.

 

Brien is the Chocolatier behind our creations. He has trained at the Culinary Institute of America and has many years of experience in chocolate, pastry, and the food service industry. He also brings a wealth of knowledge and curiosity about folklore, faerie tales, and theatre history to his art. 

Miranda is our Creative Director - managing publicity, designing packaging and creating media. She also dreams up some of our wilder flavor combinations. 

Brien Bianchi

Brien has been working in kitchens covered in powdered sugar since he was fourteen years old at The Patisserie in Skaneateles, NY. His passion for chocolate and pastry brought him to the Culinary Institute of America in 2004.

 

From there he leapt into restaurant work. Brien has worked and learned from incredible chefs and restaurateurs for over 20 years, and his experience shines in his technical expertise in chocolate and pastry.

 

What makes his work so special, though, is his creativity and passion. Brien’s work is led by curiosity and exploration, and inspired by poetry, folklore, and myth. His work in theatre is inseparable from his work with chocolate : at his heart, he is a storyteller. Oracle is his way of pulling up a chair close to a cozy fire, and inviting you to listen in. 

Miranda Bianchi

Miranda and Brien met in 2009, at an audition for "Much Ado About Nothing.” They fell in love over Shakespeare, poetry, and many many cups of hot chocolate. Their partnership has always been intensely collaborative - working together in theatre, in classrooms, and in kitchens. 

 

Miranda brings to Oracle their years of experience in marketing and customer relations, as well an intense passion for introducing chocolate-lovers to imaginative new flavor combinations. She loves working with clients to create bespoke truffles and collections inspired by events, archetypes, and memories.

 

They also work in theatre and coaching. Oracle is her way of leading clients to new ideas, and promoting the idea that pleasure and magic are for all.
